DOOBIES

One of the best shows of the many I’ve seen of the Doobies was many years ago at Ruth Eckert Hall in Clearwater. Michael sang, voice as sweet as honey, the band was tight and I was there on the front row. I must say though, let me say I love the band!
It was miserable and made the night unenjoyable. We had 4th row center seats, little close with the high stage. Mike McDonald sounded bad, it was like he was rearranging the songs to catch his breath. Were all getting older, and so are they. The real problem was the unbearable heat.
First, I turn to the crowd and bowed and waved like I was a band member, one of if not the greatest shows of my life. Ruth Eckert had me spoiled. I paid almost a grand for our two tickets. I felt so one with the band, one of the Doobie Brothers. Will always love the Doobie Brothers.
